to Flies By Mike, located in the heart of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada.
- I
first started tying flies as a hobby in 2003. As my tying progressed I
thought I would set up an E-bay account and try that (2005). The main
reason for this was to earn a few extra dollars to pay for more tying
and fishing equipment!!!
- For
the past year things have gone very well with that. I have had the
opportunity to speak with many interesting people.
- In
2006 I have taken it a step further and started "Flies By Mike".
I wanted a way to offer people a variety of flies, not just a
half dozen of a set size and color. Also to offer some quality tying
materials.
- I
spoke with a good friend of mine who knows alot more about computers
than I do, thus "Flies By Mike" was created.
- At
present most flies are tied to order.
